“It becomes firmly rooted when it has been habituated for a long time, without interruption and with sincere belief”
The Yoga Sutra of Patanjali 1:14
What is the Root Whole Body 30 Day Yoga Challenge? Why do it?
Create a Habit
You owe it to yourself to get on your mat daily — but regular life tends to interrupt and a daily practice can’t always be a reality, even when you know that it’s what is best for you. They say that it takes 21 days to create a habit, and that is one of the goals for our challenge. Rebooting your practice with our 30 day Fall Yoga Challenge is the perfect opportunity you need to devote to yourself, and create that routine that will continue on well after you reach your goal. You create momentum!
The first two weeks might be more of a challenge as you transition into your practice but you can do it! Are you in need of a pick-me-up? Extra inspiration? Look inside. You are more than capable of setting a goal and succeeding beyond your wildest imagination. Our Yoga Challenge is perfect for all people, from the absolute beginner to seasoned yogis.
Cultivate Mind-body Awareness
One of yoga’s best benefits is its ability to heighten your awareness you body and how it converses with your mental/emotional state. You become able take your practice off the mat, into your day-to-day life. A new way of being slowly, almost imperceptably seeps into the way you hold yourself at work, at home, and with yourself. Being able to hone into your body can cultivate into naturally eating better, being less stressed, and being able to focus in on the positive over the negative.
Whatever our different intentions are for this challenge, we will be connected through all that we learn on the mat together.
Win a 6-month Root Movement Membership!
Everyone who joins us for the challenge will receive a ‘gratitude’ water bottle and the top attendee will be gifted a 6-month membership at Root for all movement classes.
“Work at 70 percent. Doing 30 yoga classes at 70 percent is much better than doing five at 110 percent.”
