Join us on Saturday, March 18th from 2pm – 3:30pm for an educational and interactive Yoga Tune-Up Workshop!
Yoga Tune Up is a fitness format that helps identify and eradicate pain within the body. This unique therapy identifies and hones in on your body’s “blind spots”; areas that are underused, overworked, or taken for granted.
We often take our feet for granted; squeezing them in uncomfortable, unsupportive shoes, standing improperly, and general overuse. From arthritis to plantar fasciitis, common causes of foot pain, our feet experience much wear and tear. In fact, prolonged and aggressive pain in the feet can even lead to serious lower back issues.
During this workshop, participants will be guided to work through the tissues of the feet, calves, and knees to soothe the lower extremities of the body. A series of stretching and targeted exercises will strengthen and lengthen, as well as offer pain relief.

Exploring the Three P’s
Yoga Tune Up is built around the “Three P’s”:
- Pain: targeting areas of stiffness and tension
- Posture: assessing and improving body alignment
- Performance: utilizing body therapy to enhance performance
Participants will work on balance and gait patterns, and practice common yoga poses that support the body’s extremities and bring on immediate relief. These healing, yoga-based techniques release muscle tension using Yoga Tune Up balls and other props.
