If you’ve got an important afternoon meeting, you may want to consider scrapping a lunchtime run for a quick yoga session. According to a new study in the Journal of Physical Activity & Health, women who engaged in just twenty minutes of Hatha yoga (tree pose, triangle pose, downward facing dog, and hare pose, among others) were better able to focus, as well as process, retain and use new information, compared to women who ran on the treadmill for the same amount of time.
