As a dual-licensed Licensed Massage Therapist and Licensed Esthetician, Amanda recognizes that the first steps to whole body health and healing are to pause, take time for reflection and to enter a state of total relaxation. Amanda’s approach is to relieve tension and create a safe space for her clients, all in the scope of the holistic connection between mind and body. In doing so, she aspires to provide those first essential calming steps towards healing.

Amanda graduated from East West College of the Healing Arts in Portland, Oregon. She has training in a Chiropractic office, where she further learned the intricacies of the human anatomy and pain relief techniques. She now provides care at Root with her desire to focus on the importance of relaxation and self-care.

With massage, she enjoys incorporating a number of modalities into her treatments such as Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Swedish, Cupping and Hot Himalayan Salt Stones. With skin, Amanda brings a warm, gentle and intentional experience, along with an extensive understanding of holistic skincare.
