If we didn’t change the oil in our car for 10 years, some very major, costly issues would come up – the kind that could be easily avoided if we’d just changed the oil. We do regular anti-virus scans to catch the bugs that can crash and wreak havoc on our computers. We schedule these things to ensure the longevity and efficiency of something valuable to us. All of which, are, in one word, preventable.
