Liver Lovin’ Raw Kale Salad

love your liver salad

1 bunch kale (lacinto is my favorite)

1 beet, shredded

1 avocado

1 tsp. Apple cider vinegar

1 tsp. Miso (optional)

Wash and cut the kale into bite-size pieces. Put the kale, apple cider vinegar, and miso into a big bowl, massage together for about 2 minutes. Add the avocado and massage for another minute. Add shredded beet along with some sea salt and black pepper if desired.

Nutrition Information

Kale: Kale is a great source of chlorophyll, which improves liver function and may stop yeast and fungi issues in the digestive tract. It is also a good source of calcium, iron, and Vitamin A.

Beet: Beets contain the substance betaine,  which encourages the liver to get rid of toxins.

Avocado: Avocados are a natural source of lecithin and copper. 80% of its caloric consumption is an easily  digestible source of healthy fats.

Apple Cider Vinegar: Apple Cider Vinegar is a common remedy in Traditional Chinese Medicine for removing liver congestion and helping with indigestion.
