Hatha Yoga is the foundation of all forms of yoga. By concentrating on the inner experience of each asana (pose), the steadiness of mind and body becomes evident. Students learn to focus on alignment and breath to release more deeply, while energizing subtle channels. Because Hatha moves at a deliberate pace, it complements a more vigorous practice and can aid in healing from injury. Hatha is suitable for all levels.
Pilates is an accessible way to improve posture, encourage flexibility, and strengthen muscles and joints. Using controlled, focused movements, this practice stretches the body and increases overall endurance. Beginners to seasoned atheletes are encouraged to participate, as our instructor works with your level of strength and flexibility to ensure that you’re getting the most out of each session.
The MELT Method® (MELT®) is a simple self-treatment designed to help reduce the effects of accumulated tension and stress caused by daily living. This full-body method of self-care can be customized to your particular needs – from improving performance and decreasing the risk of repetitive stress injuries to eliminating chronic pain, regardless of what’s causing your pain in the first place.
Power Vinyasa is a demanding yet inspiring practice that leaves you energized, incorporating traditional Ashtanga poses along with fluid breathwork to helps detoxify the body, improve digestion, stimulate metabolism, normalize hormones, eliminate stress and tension and improve sleep. An intense practice, this class requires at least 10 prior Vinyasa classes. The studio is heated to between 80 and 90 degrees.
This class targets the parasympathetic nervous system, which helps slow down and regulate the entire nervous system. The instructor works with poses that help reduce fatigue, create better range of motion in the joints, and more mobility in the muscle fascia. This class is slower in nature, with many resting poses done on the floor. It is suitable for all levels.
This class This slow-flow style class is a medititative form of Vinyasa yoga, a combination of Vinyasa and Hatah, with fewer transitions than Vinyasa and more flow than Hatha, allowing for time between poses for a more meditative and calming space, while still retaining the gentle rhythm and flow of a a Vinyasa class to build strength, flexibility and balance. This class is for everybody. All levels welcome.

Yin / Candlelight Yin
Yin is a calming, restorative practice consisting of a series of long-held, passive floor poses that mainly work the lower part of the body - the hips, pelvis, inner thighs, lower spine. It emphasizes the health of joints and connective tissues, common areas of injury that tend to decrease mobility over time. Ideal for stress relief, Yin provides balance with other forms of exercise and is effective in preparing for meditation. Suitable for levels with easily adapted postures to fit individual needs.

Each student receives personal attention from Holiday Johnson, who brings 40+ years of experience in teaching yoga classes, workshops and retreats. As a pioneer developing Oregon's yoga teachers and programs, she will support students' inner-connectedness, allowing for personal growth and realization. Holiday also brings years of study and practice with Thich Nhat Hanh. Peace and harmony will be felt throughout.
