Erik Robbins

Lead Massage Therapist

Erik comes to Root from Salt Lake City, whose interest in massage began when he played hockey for the University of Utah and received some very helpful injury massage. This ignited a fire inside him that could only be quenched by a deep dive into the study of anatomy, physiology, and the interconnectedness of the body. This lead to him graduating from Utah College of Massage Therapy in 2014. As his study continued, Erik felt a strong pull toward CranioSacral Therapy, adding skills that can help connect the emotional/spiritual/energetic side of us to the physical things we are experiencing. He believes that our bodies are always communicating their needs and the best way to get results is to listen to what they are saying and follow along. Erik continues his studies to this day attending CranioSacral and Visceral Manipulation courses with the Upledger and Barral Institutes. He believes he has something to offer everyone and loves having a lots of tools to help adapt to the needs of each client.
