Dr. Kaitlin Leonard, DAcOM, LAc

Doctor in Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine

Kaitlin’s transformative journey into holistic wellness began after a car accident in 2008 left her with severe neck, shoulder, and back injuries. Traditional pain relief methods proved inadequate, leaving her sleepless and anxious. However, acupuncture emerged as a game-changer, not only alleviating her pain but also restoring her sense of calm and improving her overall quality of life. Inspired by this profound healing, Kaitlin transitioned from a career in biology to dedicate herself to natural pain management.

A distinguished graduate with honors from the National University of Natural Medicine in 2015, Kaitlin holds a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine with a specialization in Chinese herbal medicine. Furthering her education at the Pacific College of Health and Science, she earned her doctorate degree, delving into biomedicine, research-based acupuncture treatments, and integrative medicine. Beyond her clinical practice, Kaitlin shares her expertise as a respected faculty member at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine and as a sought-after public speaker.

Nestled in Sandy, Oregon, Kaitlin embraces an active lifestyle, finding solace in outdoor pursuits such as hiking, cross-country skiing, and tending to her flock of 15 chickens. She derives immense satisfaction from witnessing her patients leave her treatment room feeling relaxed and relieved, empowered by the natural healing modalities she passionately advocates.
